Medical GAP cover

The Medical Gap plan is intended to provide shortfalls of medical expenses by Medical Aid schemes. Thus, the gap benefit should be regarded as a “top up” to an existing Medical Aid Scheme. This medical gap cover is essentially designed to close the medical gap underperformance by the Medical Aid Scheme in regard to certain services received such as the doctors and specialists.

Other Gap shortfalls provided by this product include:

  • In-Hospital cover
  • Out-of-Hospital cover
  • Co-payments
  • Emergency room cover
  • Enhanced Cancer cover
  • Internal Prosthesis and artificial Joint cover
