Business Development and Support Manager
Clyde joined Harvard House Group in February 2014 in the newly created position of Business Development & Support Manager bringing over 26 years of experience in business development, people management, strategy implementation, negotiation skills and consulting. He brings along with him a mind-set of service delivery, mentoring, team building, problem solving and is results orientated.
Clyde’s diverse role at Harvard House primarily involves implementing the groups agreed strategic goals with support to the Board, overseeing and supporting the HR & Admin Manager and playing a support role to the various Departmental Managers. Clyde holds Diploma’s in Marketing (The Institute of Bankers South Africa) and Business Management (Henley College UK) as well as a NQF06 Principle Estate Agents qualification and various training and development courses.
Clyde enjoyed a successful 19 years with Standard Bank where he held the position of Senior Business Manager. He was responsible for a team of highly skilled bankers, service delivery, staff management and growing market share. After leaving Standard Bank he started his own Consultancy & Origination business which he ran successfully for 7 years before joining Harvard House.

Clyde grew up in Durban and East Griqualand where he excelled in sport playing Natal Schools Tennis and EG Rugby. He is a cycling enthusiast, having completed numerous cycling events which includes 8 Amashovashova finishes.
He currently resides in Pietermaritzburg, is happily married to Melissa and has two sons Luke and Shane stating that he can’t live without them!!! This dedicated Dad spends most of his Saturdays on the side of sports field supporting his two boys, volunteering at their school, community charity events and at his local church when time permits.
