Eager for a new challenge, Murray joined Harvard House on 1 August 2016. Prior to this Murray was a general civil litigation attorney, first with Austen Smith for 5 years and then with Lynn & Main.
Murray enjoys working with people and making a difference in their lives. He strives to provide the best service that he can. He aspires to get to the root of problems and to analyse complex problems logically in order to find a solution that is suitable to the client.
When Murray is not problem solving he enjoys spending time with his wife and family, two aspects of his life that he is very passionate about. Murray enjoys learning about different wines and coffees, cooking, listening to music and is very rarely without a book. He is a sports fan and to get the blood pumping he plays hockey for the men’s hockey club.
The Midlands is Murray’s home. He grew up in Hilton and went to school in Pietermaritzburg and the Midlands and confesses that this part of the world is his home and he wouldn’t desire to live anywhere else.
